🎁 Duplicate (copy) transactions

Entering similar transactions just got a whole lot faster. You can now duplicate an existing transaction to create a new one with all the details pre-filled.

Managing multiple budget accounts? It's now easier to stay on top of everything. You can quickly see when you last viewed each budget account and spot which ones have new transactions that need your attention!

We've added easy-to-follow video tutorials to help you get the most out of Lunch Money, from setting up budget rollover options to configuring auto-categorization for synced transactions.

📱 Manage accounts, categories, and tags on-the-go

There's a new 'Setup' page on the mobile app! You can now manage Accounts, Tags, and Categories directly from your phone! Create, edit, or delete Tags and Categories, and view or refresh Plaid-synced accounts from the new 'Accounts' view.

📱 Improved transaction experience on mobile

You can now filter for uncategorized transactions
Amount field now auto-focuses for quicker entry
Accounts now listed alphabetically in selection dropdown
Plaid-synced transactions can now be edited when 'Allow modifications to transactions' is enabled

📱 Enhanced mobile app security

The app is now obscured in the app switcher when biometric authentication is enabled, adding an extra layer of security.

Bugs? Squashed! 🥾🐛💥

🔧 The one where leaving the amount field empty during transaction creation caused a permanent loading state on the "Add " button

🔧 The one where evenly splitting a credit transaction resulted in incorrect split percentages

📱 The one where income was calculated incorrectly in the Period Summary

📱 The one where the Spending Breakdown progress bars displayed empty for individual categories

📱 The one where some payee names weren't displaying in the payee input field

📱 The one where newly added transactions didn't trigger rules

Quick pricing reminder! 📣

As Lunch Money continues to grow, we're investing in product improvements, reliability, and long-term sustainability, all while remaining fully independent and customer-funded.

What's changing?

Starting March 15, 2026, the minimum for our pay-what-you-want annual plan will increase to $60.
