Hi Everyone — We have a question this week that is more personal than personal finance. Those of us who reside in the United States (and others elsewhere who care about the country) live in a tumultuous time. Change can be hard, especially if it's not changes that you would have chosen. Uncertainty around drastic, proposed changes may be harder still. To the extent that any of you are doing specific things to feel better about (or alter) the trajectory of the U.S. and your place in it, what are they? Is it some kind of hyperlocal work in your community? A specific donation that you've never made before? Something else that is new to you and perhaps counterintuitive? As ever, we are standing by at yourmoney_newsletter@nytimes.com. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you have a great week. How are we doing? We'd love your feedback on this newsletter. Please email thoughts and suggestions to yourmoney_newsletter@nytimes.com. Like this email? Forward it to your friends, and let them know they can sign up Your Money. |
